I guess that you can settle for whatever comes or shake your fist at the heavens--you can't fight it. As near as I can tell by the extended forecasts, the rain/wind/cool weather is predicted to hang around, oh, forever, it seems. ;) Enjoy your summer.MikeHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01530099708429116393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21671665.post-83581037483145173012013-05-14T09:42:14.396+01:002013-05-14T09:42:14.396+01:00You and I must be the only realists in the UK. People have such short memories. When I was 15, I remember a six week long summer, no holiday abroad booked, when it rained every single day. My parents took us out of school for a week shortly after term started and we went to turkey, because they were so desperate for some sun.janerowenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00295097968168916092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21671665.post-68152366179855581342013-05-13T15:48:46.503+01:002013-05-13T15:48:46.503+01:00Ah, 80 degrees...I remember it well.Ah, 80 degrees...I remember it well.MikeHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01530099708429116393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21671665.post-84874798514926140592013-05-13T14:28:22.144+01:002013-05-13T14:28:22.144+01:00Well, at least it's not as bad as last year wh...Well, at least it's not as bad as last year when the summer fell in March! Here in Chicago we're having a slightly whacky week. We had a frost advisory overnight, but tomorrow it's going to be in the 80's (26+ Celsius).
